Our Mission Statement:
The organization is dedicated to empowering minority women and men to influence the transportation industry's destiny. NMWAIT is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing minorities with education, support, and advocacy.

Our Vision Statement:
To help minorities succeed in the transportation industry by strengthening and amplifying their voices.
The particular goals and objectives of NMWAIT are as follows
A. To raise public awareness of the critical role that small minority owned companies serve in the community's health and viability.
B. To bring trends, circumstances, opportunities, and concerns to the notice of its members and the wider public that may require community discussion.
C. To assist the National Minority Women's Associations in Transportation Foundation, as well as other worthy community groups and civic initiatives and activities.
D. To promote public engagement in all facets of civic life, as well as to address minority women and men's concerns regarding transportation safety and inclusion.
