The National Minority Women's Association in Transportation

The National Minority Women Association in Transportation, Inc. (NMWAIT) is a membership-based, minority women-owned advocacy organization whose objective is to increase the visibility, capacity, and profitability of professional minority women and men in the transportation industry.  

NMWAIT's objective is to encourage professional minority women and men in the transportation industry to thrive in their various professional and commercial sectors by recognizing, supporting, and celebrating their achievements. 

NMWAIT will participate in a number of initiatives to help address relevant legislative  challenges that minorities face in the transportation industry in order to  succeed. In order to ensure inclusiveness and diversity, NMWAIT will conduct educational activities aimed at creating a national atmosphere in which reforms may thrive by educating Americans on policies and advocacy actions.
